What You Can't Ship from China: Prohibited and Restricted Items
EZBUYSHIP Team · November 6, 2026 · 1 min read
Before you buy, it's worth checking whether an item can actually be shipped to your country. Carriers, airlines and customs authorities all have their own rules, and an item that can't be shipped may have to be returned or disposed of.
Never allowed
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and fireworks.
- Drugs and controlled substances.
- Counterfeit or replica branded goods.
- Flammable, toxic or corrosive materials.
- Live animals and endangered species products.
Restricted — only on certain channels
- Products with built-in batteries (phones, power banks, electric toys).
- Liquids, creams and cosmetics.
- Powders and food supplements.
- Magnets and items containing magnets.
- Food products, depending on the destination country.
These are usually called "sensitive goods". Our shipping calculator lets you choose "contains sensitive goods" to see only the channels that can carry them.
